Contractor Registration

Thank you for your enquiry regarding registration as a contractor with Home Assist Community Services.

Below you will find general information about our organisation, along with the requirements and form to be completed in order to be added to our register of approved contractors.

We value the skills and expertise of our contractors and look forward to the possibility of working with you in supporting our Consumers

Requirements

  • Australian Business Number (ABN).
  • Public Liability Insurance (minimum $20 million).
  • Professional Indemnity Insurance (Minimum $1 million) for anyone providing advice or recommendation or certification.
  • Contractors and their staff will hold formal qualifications and carry out all work in accordance with the Work Health and Safety Act 2011, the relevant building codes, Local government authority regulations, license regulations and Australian standards.
  • Read and understand the Aged Care Code of Conduct.
  • Contractors are to carry out all work in accordance with the Work Health and Safety Act 2011, the relevant Building Codes, Local Government Authority Regulations, Licence Regulations and Australian Standards.
  • All individuals providing work for Home Assist Community Services to hold a current Federal criminal history check (National Police Check) OR valid NDIS Worker Screening Card. *Blue Cards will NOT be accepted*
