Home Assist Community Services are looking for a personal care worker to deliver individual and personalised
care and resources to consumers, so that they may continue to live the life they choose in their homes. This
role will be with our team at Home Assist Community Services.
Home Assist Community Services is a non-profit community based public benevolent institution. It was
established in the year 1999 to provide a range of services for older people and people with disabilities in the
Queensland Local Government Areas of Bundaberg, Fraser Coast, Gympie, North Burnett and South Burnett.
Required qualities
Minimum Certificate III in any one of Aged Care, Home and Community Care or Disability
Current First Aid and CPR Certification
Current Driver’s Licence
Current National Police Certificate or National Disability Support Scheme Yellow Card
Proof of Covid-19 vaccinations and Flu Vaccination
Willingness to travel as required
Desired competencies
Minimum 1 years’ experience in Community Aged Care Setting (within the last 2 years)
Previous employment experience in the health/aged care, not for profit, community services sector desirable but not essential.
A proven track record of passion, commitment and reliability in delivering quality client centred care.
A proven record working with patients/persons in care.
